A locavore is defined as someone who eats food grown or produced locally or within a certain radius such as 50, 100, or 150 miles. There are many reasons to eat locally, which include supporting local farmers, decreasing use of non-renewable resources, and also finding tastier food from a clean source! Did you know that Eat Like the Pros uses local produce whenever possible? And for all you Chicago Locavores out there, you can check out: Local Yolkel dubbed "a Chicago eating guide for hungry locavores". "Eat Like the Pros is a huge part of my everyday routine. Heading into the playoffs after 82 regular season games, I feel as strong and as healthy as I did in training camp in September. Making sure my body is ready to perform is very important, and Eat Like the Pros along with Julie Burns have helped me incredibly." .jpg)
